Our services

ChillerSerwis is an independent chiller service company working on industrial and commercial cooling in Poland, Germany and other EU countries. Below you will find every service we offer, what each one covers and where to read more.

We are specialists, not a general building services contractor. Our work is chillers, the chilled water and glycol systems around them, and the refrigeration and air handling equipment that depends on the same skills: refrigerant circuits, compressors, heat exchangers, fans, pumps and controls. We service all brands after the manufacturer’s warranty has ended, and every visit ends with an electronic report in English, with measurements and photos, which the customer signs on site.

The rule behind all of our services is simple: we measure first, then repair. A replaced part without a confirmed cause is a guess, and guesses are expensive when a production line or a hospital ventilation system depends on the unit.

Chiller service, diagnostics and repair

Chillers are our core work. These pages describe the main routes from a fault or an ageing unit to a reliable plant.

• Chiller service: diagnostics with pressures, temperatures, superheat, subcooling and electrical readings, regular maintenance and fault finding on air-cooled and water-cooled units.
• Chiller repair: compressor replacement with cause analysis, leak repair with brazing under nitrogen, expansion valves, filter driers, sensors and contactors, with control measurements after the job.
• Chilled water unit repair: units serving offices, hospitals, hotels and plants, where high and low pressure trips, capacity loss or water side faults stop the air conditioning or the process.
• Workshop repairs: smaller chillers, process coolers and components repaired in our workshop in Wałsnów, with testing before they go back to site.
• Technical inspections: periodic inspections with a full set of measurements and a report that ranks findings by priority.
• Chiller rental: temporary units from our partner company ChillerTech, connected, started up and serviced by our team.

Refrigeration equipment and condensing units

The same refrigerant circuit knowledge applies to equipment that is not a chiller in the strict sense.

• Refrigeration equipment service: industrial and commercial refrigeration, from small process units to large chilled water plants, with planned inspections and written reports.
• Condensing unit service: units supplying cold rooms, process coolers and the direct expansion coils of air handling units.
• Compressed air dryer service: refrigerated dryers with dew point problems, refrigerant circuit faults, failed drains or fouled heat exchangers.
• Industrial heat pumps: service and diagnostics of heat pumps used for process heat and building heating.
• Printing industry: cooling and dampening solution systems on offset presses, including technotrans units and alcohol dosing units.

Heat rejection, air handling and rooftops

• Dry coolers, rooftops and AHUs: an overview of the equipment on the roof and in the plant room that works together with the chiller.
• Rooftop unit service: cooling, heating, fans, dampers and controller alarms on rooftop units on factories, warehouses and retail buildings.
• Air handling unit service: coils, frost damage, fans, belts, inverters, heat recovery and controls.
• Condenser cleaning: cleaning of air-cooled condensers and dry cooler coils, with condensing temperature measured before and after.

Water side, glycol and installations

Many chiller faults start on the water side. Low flow, blocked strainers, wrong glycol concentration or air in the system will trip a healthy unit again and again.

• Glycol testing and replacement: concentration, freezing point, pH and inhibitor condition, with replacement and disposal of the old fluid.
• Chilled water installations: design, pipework, pumps, buffer tanks, flushing, filling, venting and commissioning with recorded parameters.

Compliance and field service

• F-gas leak checks: leak checks at the intervals required by Regulation (EU) 2024/573, with entries for the equipment records.
• Mobile refrigeration service: field teams travelling from Szczecin and Wałsnów with recovery equipment, tools and common spare parts.

How we work

1. You send us the make, model and serial number from the nameplate, the alarm text or a short description of the symptoms, and the site address.
2. We confirm the scope and the price before travelling. For work outside Poland, diagnostics on site start from 3,000 PLN net, labour is 500 PLN net per hour and travel is 3.20 PLN net per km.
3. On site we measure, document and explain the findings before any part is replaced.
4. You receive the report in English with measurements, photos and a clear recommendation, followed by a quote for the repair if one is needed.

Our Diagnostics Department is in Szczecin, about 150 km from Berlin, and our service base and workshop are in Wałsnów. We have carried out field service since 2019 at 126 locations in Poland and now also work for plants in Germany and other EU countries. The company holds an F-gas certificate, and our technicians hold personal F-gas certificates categories I and II, SEP G1, G2 and G3 qualifications and a brazing certificate. What we do not do

To keep our quality high we stay within our field. We do not service split or VRF air conditioning, fan coil units, cooling towers or refrigerated display cabinets, and we do not offer a 24/7 standby service. We are not an authorised warranty service of any manufacturer: we take over units once the warranty has ended. Within these limits we work on all brands of chillers and industrial cooling equipment.

Frequently asked questions

Do you work on all chiller brands?

Yes. We are independent and work on all brands after the end of the manufacturer’s warranty. For controllers that need brand-specific service software we tell you in advance what access we will need.

Can you combine several services in one visit?

Yes, and it usually saves travel costs. A typical combination is a technical inspection, an F-gas leak check and condenser cleaning on the same day.

In which languages do you communicate?

By e-mail in English, German or Polish. Reports are written in English.

How quickly can you come to a site in Germany?

Berlin, Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern are within a few hours of Szczecin. The date depends on the current schedule; we confirm it when we confirm the scope.

What are your working hours?

Monday to Saturday, 8:00 to 16:00 CET. Enquiries sent outside these hours are answered on the next working day.
