Mobile refrigeration service

Air-cooled chiller next to a production hall in winter

Our field teams travel from Szczecin and Wałsnów to plants in Germany, Poland and other EU countries with the tools, recovery equipment and common spare parts needed to diagnose and repair cooling systems on site. Visits are planned in advance and priced before we set off.

Most chillers and refrigeration units cannot come to a workshop. They are bolted to a roof, connected to a process or simply too large. So the workshop has to come to them. Mobile service only works well when the team arrives prepared: with the right information about the unit, the right equipment and a clear scope. This page explains how we organise that.

Where we travel from

Our Diagnostics Department in Szczecin is about 150 km from Berlin, which puts Berlin, Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern within a few hours of travel. Our service base and workshop in Wałsnów covers central and southern Poland. From these two points we serve plants across Poland, where we have worked at 126 locations since 2019, and customers in Germany and other EU countries. Longer trips are planned so that several jobs in one region are combined where customers agree, which keeps travel costs down for everyone.

Vans equipped for refrigeration work

A service van is a mobile workshop. On a typical visit we carry:

  • Refrigerant recovery units and recovery cylinders, with scales for weighing every kilogram recovered and charged.
  • Vacuum pumps and electronic vacuum gauges for evacuation to below 500 microns.
  • Digital manifolds and calibrated temperature probes for superheat and subcooling measurements.
  • Dry nitrogen with a pressure regulator for pressure testing and for purging during brazing.
  • Brazing equipment, pipe tools and fittings for repairs of the refrigerant circuit.
  • Electronic leak detectors and leak detection spray.
  • Clamp meters, multimeters and an insulation resistance tester for electrical diagnostics.
  • A refractometer for glycol concentration and a thermal camera for heat exchangers and electrical panels.
  • Hand tools, cleaning equipment for condenser coils and personal protective equipment for work on roofs and in plant rooms.

Common spare parts on board

Waiting for a small part is the most frustrating way to lose a day. We therefore carry the parts that fail most often and fit a wide range of units: filter driers of common sizes, Schrader valve cores, sight glasses, pressure switches, standard temperature sensors, contactors and relays in typical ratings, fuses, fan capacitors and service valves. Larger or unit-specific parts, such as compressors, expansion valves, controllers or fan motors, are ordered after the diagnosis. When you send us the nameplate data and the alarm description before the visit, we can often identify the likely part and bring it along.

Refrigerant recovery and charging

Work on a refrigerant circuit abroad follows the same rules as at home: Regulation (EU) 2024/573 applies across the EU. Refrigerant is recovered, never vented, and every quantity is recorded in the report and the equipment records. The company holds an F-gas certificate and our technicians hold personal F-gas certificates categories I and II. After repairs we evacuate the circuit, check the vacuum hold and charge by weight to the nameplate value. If the refrigerant has to be replaced or disposed of, we agree with you in advance how it will be handled.

Planned visits with fixed prices

For work outside Poland our prices are simple and stated before the visit:

ItemPriceNotes
Diagnostics on sitefrom 800 EUR netScope confirmed in the offer before the visit
Labour115 EUR net per hourRepairs and additional work after the diagnosis
Travel0.75 EUR net per kmFor example Szczecin to Berlin and back is about 300 km, so about 225 EUR net
Parts and refrigerantquoted separatelyAfter the diagnosis, before ordering

A visit is planned in these steps:

  1. You send the make, model and serial number, the refrigerant and charge if known, the alarm text or a description of the problem, the site address and any access requirements.
  2. We send an offer with the scope, the price and a proposed date.
  3. After acceptance we prepare the parts and equipment for the specific unit.
  4. On site we measure, explain the findings, carry out the agreed work and leave an electronic report in English, signed by you.

Our working hours are Monday to Saturday, 8:00 to 16:00 CET. We do not offer a 24/7 standby service, which is why we focus on planned work and on finding problems before they become breakdowns. Typical planned jobs are technical inspections and F-gas leak checks. For customers in Germany, more details are on the chiller service in Germany page.

Site requirements

To make the most of a visit, please make sure that the unit is accessible and can run under load, that someone with knowledge of the process is available at the start, and that roof access meets safety rules. Site inductions and permits to work are fine with us; just tell us in advance how long they take.

Frequently asked questions

How far do you travel?

Throughout Poland and Germany, and to other EU countries when the scope justifies the trip. The nearest German regions are Berlin, Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

Can you bring the spare part on the first visit?

Often yes, if you send the nameplate data and the alarm details in advance. Common parts are always on board.

Do you charge for travel time?

Travel is charged at 0.75 EUR net per km, as stated in the offer. The full price is known before you accept.

In which language is the report?

Reports are in English. By e-mail we communicate in English, German or Polish.

Need a refrigeration engineer on site?

Send us the unit data and the site address and we will send a fixed offer with a proposed date.
